About DS Home Collective

This company exists because
we needed it ourselves.

Your home should be a refuge, not a responsibility.

DS Home Collective was built from a real experience — not a market study. That experience shaped everything about how we work.

The founding story

Where this came from.

When Dion's father passed, the estate that followed was one of the most logistically complex things either of us had ever managed — coordinating contractors, appraisers, attorneys, financial advisors, and the careful, emotionally loaded work of deciding what happened to a household full of belongings.

We got through it. And when we came out the other side, we realized two things: first, that the professional project-management skills we both use every day in our careers had been the thing that kept the process from falling apart. And second, that most families facing the same situation have no one with those skills in their corner.

That gap — between “hire a full-time employee and hope” and “manage it all yourself” — is exactly what DS Home Collective exists to fill. Not just for estate transitions, but for the full operational complexity of running a large home or a busy life.

We are both still working Product Managers. We built this company to apply the same discipline we bring to our careers — clear scope, accountability, proactive communication, and follow-through — to private household management.

Dion White

Co-Founder

Full-time Product Manager. Led the settlement and organization of his father's estate — coordinating contractors, appraisers, legal and financial parties, and the disposition of a household's entire contents. The direct catalyst for this business. Leads vendor relationships, project-based engagements, and contract administration.

Stephanie White

Co-Founder

Full-time Product Manager. Brings the same structured, deadline-driven approach she uses professionally to household operations, vendor management, and client communication. Leads retainer client relationships, recurring operations, and marketing.

Based in Stamford, CT

Serving lower Fairfield County — Greenwich, New Canaan, Darien, Westport, Weston, Wilton, Ridgefield, and Stamford. We work in a geography we know and a vendor network we have built here.

Our model

Retained like a PM.
Not hired like staff.

Clients retain DS Home Collective on a monthly basis — defined scope, vendor accountability, and proactive communication — without the burden of payroll, benefits, and HR exposure that comes with a full-time household employee.

Every retainer client receives a monthly written summary covering what was completed, what is upcoming, and any items requiring attention. You should never have to ask how things are going.

We do not run estate sales or auctions (we refer to specialists we trust)

We do not provide legal or tax advice

We do not place household staff as an employment agency
